Pets should not be allowed to jump around or poke their head out of the window. Various dangers exist when pets are left unrestrained in the vehicle. Although many pets are well behaved in the car, consider your pets safety if you happen to be involved in an auto accident.

Be sure your pet cannot wander around the automobile. Various solutions are available including a pet safety belt, pet harness or pet car seat. Pet auto travel safety devices such as these give protection should an accident take place by securing your pet inside the vehicle.
